Im sitting in a small room in Phelps County Regional Hospital (Rolla) missing my family. I don't like not being there. Don't get me wrong! I love a break every so often from the craziness of the Clancy home, but I don't like things happening with my family and I can't be there to live it. I've been trying to remember the big picture in life lately. We are here for such a short amount of time in all of eternity. We are so lucky that God gave us a chance at this thing called "life". Every bump in the road is a challenge we get to try and overcome. It sounds exciting to me! When I'm in a good frame of mind, I have the grandest of plans to overcome all of my obsticles. I just need to try and remember that when I am confronted face to face with them. It's like a game. Some you win and some you lose. I plan on winning.

- I am a 44 year old mom and wife. I have 7 children. One's in Graduate School and the other's are in middle school and elementary school. My fifth child, Isabelle, died at 19 days old from Trisomy 13. I work, part-time, as a flight paramedic, a job I dreamed of since I first got into the EMS industry in 1989. I spend most of my days right now just keeping up on the cooking and cleaning that a large family requires. I enjoy doing those things. I just wish that they didn't repeat themselves so much. I try to get all that stuff done when my kids are at school so I can focus on them when they are at home. I love having a lot of kids, they keep me young and make me feel old all at the same time.
